Yahoo approached me to create these animations to promote their fantasy baseball draft. Armed with a couple mood boards, a few limitations and a gang of ideas and possibilities, I did some experimenting. Next I designed static storyboards for approval before moving onto prep, character animation and finally particle systems, textures and other stylistic fun.

eBay approached us about creating interactive takeovers for the yahoo login page. I led a group of interns in brainstorming some great ideas that you’ll see here.
Snowball Fight - We worked together to give the projects some design love and I code-animated our prototypes before passing them off to the heavy-hitters to develop interaction. I oversaw the process, a conduit between design and development, to insure playability interceded with choice design and brand standards.
The analytics showed we broke interaction records with our snowball fight game, and we’re particularly proud of the replay rate.

The site features a widget that enables the user to add their dog to the site’s mosaic and share their story with the world. The site also helps users create a customized poster featuring their loved one.

KP likes to tell a big story. They had a lot to say for 15 seconds, lot's of proof points. Conveying this through storyboards was difficult. I was able to quickly animate a master banner to show the story we wanted to convey within a tight timeframe, sidelining the red tape that generally comes with the banner design proofing process. In the end, this saved us time, enabling us to over-deliver ahead of deadline and under budget. *Animation available on request

Yahoo asked me to animate this large campaign utilizing HTML5. I chose a clean and straightforward approach to catch the user's eye without annoying or overwhelming. Creative is refreshed often, we've created over 100 variations / verticals in all shapes and sizes, so keeping things simple and streamlined was a must. This pragmatic approach aided in keeping these copy heavy units under 40k.

For Wimbledon's first ever social media push, I aimed to keep things clean and simple, allowing the powerful imagery do the heavy lifting for this refined, time tested brand. The 20% rule is there for a reason, so we left the copy in the Facebook / Twitter post, working in harmony with each specific image.
Ads were dropped in 4 phases, so we were able to flood social media with a wide variety of creative aprapos to the timing of the event. We covered the preparation, the action, the grounds, the coverage, and the victory.

eBay asked us to create direct mail pieces to send to dealerships around the U.S. accompanied by an email blast and a landing page to lead them to. We wanted to give the dealers something to symbolize the partnership and commitment of eBay motors, as well as the huge reach of their platform. More importantly, we wanted to create something that showed the dealers just how much eBay motors gets them.

The taller, leaner Zync - While maintaining the essence of the tried & true ZYNC logo, this new approach utilizes a modernized font, bringing us closer to the up and coming. The softer corners balance out our bold voice. Our new shape reaches toward square, allying with responsive design, and legibility in smaller application.
